Agia Pelagia is a small seaside village on the north Coast of Crete Island. Agia Pelagia was originally a small charming fishing village, 25 km away from the capital city of Heraklion. The only residents were inhabitants of Achlada, mostly working with agriculture, fishing and animal raising. In the mid eighties the natural beauty of the area attracted much attention and soon Agia Pelagia became a very popular and beloved holiday resort for the locals and foreigners.
